Ragheed Al-Dabbagh

Head of Optical Networks Product Management, Architecture & Consulting Engineering, Nokia

Ragheed is the Nokia Asia Pacific head of Optical Networks Product Management, Architecture, and Consulting. Having previously led Optical business development for Oceania, in the IP & Optical Networks Division at Nokia as well as various other technical engineering roles. He has over 10 years experience in the Telecommunications industry with particular expertise in the area of Transport Networks (xWDM, OTN, Packet, T-SDN).

Prior to joining Nokia, Ragheed worked for Pacific Broadband Networks (PBN) as an xPON R&D engineer before joining Vicom Australia as an Optical test & measurement specialist.

Born in Baghdad, Iraq and educated in Australia. Ragheed received his undergraduate double degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science and Software Engineering from Swinburne University of Technology, where he graduated with honors and specialized in Photonics and Fibre Optic Transmission Systems. He currently resides in Shanghai, China.
